FEARSOME DATE!!!!

This is how I learnt to never say no to a girl for a date.

How many dates I have made is a  dark side of my personality because I couldn't make any. Supposedly, I acknowledge this spot to my first planned but un-executable date, a curse came from the day of saying "NO" to a girl.......

HUH!, What could possibly be done when you are in school. Study, make friends, celebrate birthdays, play games, and DATES- an informal girl-boy meeting, a rare but demanding opportunity.

Ha! We planned but I was too young for that, class 8th, amid of teenage.

Saturday, a half day, both of us with  same  excuse of being late in school for sports or other non-existing activity, came out from our homes and planned to go together to a newly opened McDonald in the city.

Now BIKE or Public Transport?

We foolishly or unknowingly skipped this from our plan . Though I had a bicycle but imagining her sitting behind me on the bicycle would have been a clear creepy picture and, another option with her was her school auto in which she owned a seat, a seat is a big area in school autos, so she might had own a senior girl's lap but a risky option to ask the auto driver to drop somewhere else. So no options available other than walking together along my bicycle.

The bell rang, we both came out to the Basket ball court like rescuers, she was ready to jump outside the school from an open gate to finish off this date and reach home at earliest. I was doubtful too, rather not reluctant to execute the young minds. I hesitated every moment and finally a pause came, brain decided what to be done irrespective not deciding only for myself, I rushed to the cycle stand without turning back. I could hear some voice screaming my name but I preferred walking without turning.

I SAID, " LETS GO BACK HOME", and moved opposite to her leaving her alone on the Court

I paddled my bicycle at full speed available from my shivering legs towards home. Eventually, it was the last and final day I heard that voice, we didn't talk again, no calls, no chats.

I didn't turn back to see when she left or if she waited for someone or she called for some help or any other certain possibilities to reach home. she lived 20-30 kms away from school walking was not an option for her. She surely had missed her school-auto because we wasted time at basket ball court, about half an hour.

She must have felt like the girl at left side, I killed all the certain options to reach home peacefully. Though she had only one...

Missing a school transport is not a big deal, we miss hundred times, I missed million times and people came searching for me to school and other pet playing places. I was responsible but not so far to end the world.

Probably a reason for the break up, mmhhhhh!!  not a right word, an end to the friendship.
