" GO - AHEAD", I gained it..!!!

I showed denial , acted maturely, opined many other options for comfort and luxury, but nothing moved off my dad's decision. He wanted me to spend a month in dormitory, a public hotel room, during the month of June in Mumbai for an internship at Daruwala Law Firm.

I realized, Dad! You are always right.  Happy Father's Day.

I wouldn't have afforded to loose the most inspiring, exciting, entertaining, caring, humanly experience to live in the company of Seniors....

I was scared of loosing my expensive belongings, Laptop mostly, I carried 4-5 locks with me. I didn't know it was the least expensive monetary valued object that I locked every now and then. Room-mates were business leaders of their places and carried so much of cash kept unlocked. This boosted up my confidence to  trust people, and at least I tried  to Trust.

Wow! This hostel life is far better than our hostel life. No Laptops, No songs or other self-entertaining tool, healthy discussion on politics, social aspects, education and other not to be mentioned topics. Ya! Sometimes the filthy stuff but better than hostel crap.

My silence participated in every discussion but observed keenly every person's way of speaking, and level of thinking which varied so much.  I am liked by many seniors, many times they invited for dinner but I preferred my mom's opinion, "Not to roam with unknown people".
The exclusiveness lies in the room as well, it was the biggest and most special room in the Hotel. People plan trips according to the beds vacant in the room which is done days before. The all time and regular customers gained privilege of staying in the octagonal shaped room with three big regular door size windows at third floor. All this information has been gathered during the stay with room mates, none of them was new to this place.

They shared their experiences of learning things when they were of my age, how they strove hard to reach to a level of sustainability. If I can relate things, why I am here, why dad wanted me to stay here, is only to make me learn how he lived his life to provide luxuries to us and how I should live my life ahead.   " GO - AHEAD", I gained it........

This experience is enriched in independent living with people of not my age and I felt remarkable when one person before leaving gave me his contact number and emphatically asked me to come for stay next year. He was above sixty, I never had a good bonding with people greater than my age.

I want to enjoy this again in future, rains also helped to add flavor in bonding when we all spent one day in room due to water logging and flooding.

This one is especially for you daddy , You always make me experience the BEST...
